There is plenty to do in the rich and very diverse département of the Ardèche. There are countless fun outdoor sports and activities on offer.
The Ardèche River is ideal for all sorts of watersports, from canoeing for beginners to canyoning and white water stunts for those who love extreme sports. You can experience the joys of the river by taking a 7km trip, or take a longer, full-day trip. During the high season, you can travel down the Ardèche – departures from the campsite are organised every Tuesday. You can also take a canoe/kayak trip along the The Chassezac river.
There are also several hiking trails in the surrounding countryside. Setting off from Rosières, there are signposted walks which bring you back to your starting point and allow you to explore the magnificent scenery. The Intercommunal Tourist Office can help you explore the Beaume-Drobie area with organised walks accompanied by a guide trained in medium-altitude hiking; themed walks are offered for full days or half-days. Otherwise, why not explore the Ardèche on two wheels – there are routes for cyclists and mountain biking for both short trips and more sporting endeavours.
Every Sunday we hold a welcoming aperitif, and the people organising activities in partnership with the campsite will be there to offer their services
